Lory Monei uses her feelings, emotions, and personal experiences to create her songs.  Her songs are relatable, with the intention to aid in coping with unexplained feelings and emotions. She says when you are feeling some type of way and do not know why or do not know how to put the feelings and emotions into words,  turn to her music to find the words. Somewhere in the words will be an answer to move forward, and thats how she is helping to make the popular urban culture more representative of the urban population.
